Retreat to Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula- A Time to Reconnect, with yourself and the natural world around you.
February 4-10, 2023
Join me for 6 nights and 5 full days of immersion in yoga, meditation, relaxation, and mindful experiences in nature. Our wonderful 6 days will be spent in both Puerto Morelos and El Cuyo. This retreat will include daily yoga asana practices, nature meditations, quiet slow walks in the jungle and on the beach, and excursions to cenotes.
Our first two nights will be spent in the amazing jungle outside Puerto Morelos, less than 1 hour from the Cancun airport. This time will be spent easing into our retreat and slowing down to the rhythms of nature.
The next 4 nights will be spent in a private oceanfront beach house in El Cuyo. This is a very quiet little beach town on the northern coast of the Yucatan. There are no resorts or clubs in this peaceful respite. It is the perfect spot to really slow down and pay attention to what is happening within and to connect with what is around.
This is an opportunity to slow down and listen. A chance to disconnect from your daily worries and concerns, to reconnect with your inner self and to connect with the more than human world around you.
February 4- February 10, Saturday to Friday. Fly in and out of Cancun airport. Please book your flights to arrive between 12-6pm on 2/4 and depart after 2pm on 2/10. Transport to and from the airport will be provided within these timeframes.

Travel Insurance. Please purchase travel insurance. In the event of unforeseen circumstances it is so helpful to have. Remember, Covid is still around and I will ask you to test yourself within 2 days before the start of the retreat and self attest to a negative result. Please do not travel if you are sick. Lunches are not included but there are places in town to eat. I encourage you to explore and support local businesses.
Please bring your own yoga mat. An additional list of recommended packing items will be sent later on.

After visiting our retreat locations this tentative schedule has been created to correspond with the weather and movements of the sun. As with all travel, anything can change. It’s best to have an open mind and open heart to welcome whatever comes.

Shelter Island Yoga Retreat Getaway
August 2-5 2018 (THIS WAS A GREAT RETREAT)
I've just booked a wonderful little cottage on Shelter Island right on West Neck Bay. There is a huge sprawling lawn for our morning and afternoon yoga practices, a screened in porch for seated meditation and a small dock for jumping into the bay or just sitting back to enjoy the view.
Shelter Island is located on the East End of Long Island between the North and South Fork, accessible only by ferry. You can take the Long Island Railroad to the Ferry terminal. As you may remember, by August we will all be sweating and dreaming of the beach.
Nearly one-third of the island is owned by The Nature Conservancy to be preserved in a wild state. The Preserve has four nature and bird-watching trails, varying in length from 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to 11 miles (18 km)

JOSHUA TREE YOGA, MEDITATION, AND HIKING RETREAT

Join us for 5 days and 5 nights of desert, sunshine, yoga, meditation and hiking in Joshua Tree National Park. About 2 ½ hours east of Los Angeles, Joshua Tree National park encompasses 800,000 acres of desert, mountains, rock formations, diverse ecosystems and it’s famous twisted, bristled Joshua Trees. November in Joshua Tree is on average, a high of 75 degrees in the daytime and cooler in the evening. A perfect way to experience the desert.
Accommodations in our own private home, just minutes from the entrance of the park, surrounded by breathtaking views of the desert mountains. Enjoy star filled skies, relaxing evenings, adventurous days, healing mornings, and nutritious home cooked meals.
Our journey together will begin at Palm Springs International Airport, where we will depart for our retreat house and arrive the evening of November 7th. Breakfast and Dinners will be provided, with snacks throughout the day. Each day will start with meditation and then an All Levels Vinyasa Flow Yoga class. Following our morning practice we will have a delicious breakfast and some private time to enjoy the early hours of the day. We will then head out for an afternoon of hiking and outdoor adventure with our own personal Wilderness Guide & Trail Expert, accompanied by meditation and mindfulness practices. During the weekend, we will take a trip to the Integratron for a crystal bowl sound bath inside the world's only all-wood, acoustically perfect sound-chamber. Evenings can be spent in the hot tub, enjoying a fun filled campfire, gazing at the stars on the star deck, a restorative yoga class and guided meditation, or maybe even some mandala drawing meditation!
Luxuriate in the peace of not having to be anywhere and not having to make any decisions. Take some time for yourself while connecting to this magical desert landscape. Recharge, renew and have a truly wonderful time.
